Airwallex launches support program for Singapore’s startup community
Airwallex introduced its “Airwallex for Startups” program in Singapore, targeting the city-state’s community of over 55,000 startups.
This initiative follows the launch in Hong Kong and Australia and includes networking activities, mentorship opportunities with industry leaders and exclusive product offerings.
Startups can also apply to win Airwallex’s SG$10,000 Level-up Business Grant to accelerate their growth.
“Startups are the backbone of innovation and progress around the world, and this program is designed to help Singapore entrepreneurs realize their ambitions, take risks with their ideas, expand their reach and continue to build their businesses across borders,” he said Arnold Changeneral manager of Asia, Airwallex.
Joining the Airwallex for Startups program offers Singapore-based startups a number of benefits, including waiving expense management fees for six months and 3% cashback on Airwallex Borderless cards.
Participants can process up to SG$20,000 in fee-free payments, receive up to SG$250,000 in Google Cloud credits and enjoy up to three months of Xero membership. The program also includes discounts on HubSpot subscriptions, with 30% off the first year and 15% off the second year.
In addition to these financial incentives, startups will have access to valuable networking opportunities with founders and industry leaders and participate in workshops covering topics from artificial intelligence to customer relationship management.
Additionally, local startups have the opportunity to apply for the SG$10,000 Level-up Business Grant, which aims to support their growth. Grant Applications they are open until 31 August 2024 and the winner will be announced at an event preceding the Singapore Grand Prix.
