Broadridge Takes SEC Filing Fintech CompSci
Broadridge Financial Solutions has acquired CompSci Resources, a cloud-based financial technology software provider for preparing and processing SEC filings for companies and public funds. Details of the deal were not disclosed.
CompSci’s TransformTM technology platform will be integrated with Broadridge’s regulatory reporting and documentation capabilities to provide public companies and funds with a comprehensive suite of web-based, collaborative solutions to simplify and improve SEC regulatory reporting preparation, XBRL tagging, and EDGAR filing.

Mike Tae, co-president of investor communications solutions at Broadridge, said companies and public funds must comply with increasingly complex regulatory requirements in the most efficient and cost-effective way.
“We are modernizing the regulatory reporting process with advanced technologies to give companies and public funds more direct control over their SEC filings,” Tae added.
The CompSci platform automates the reporting process, features AI-assisted XBRL tagging, and enables team collaboration.
The Securities and Exchange Commission has amended Volume II of the Electronic Data Collection, Analysis, and Retrieval System Filer Manual (EDGAR Filer Manual) and related rules and forms. EDGAR Release 24.2 will be distributed to the EDGAR System on July 1, 2024.
