CNBC Recognizes MTN, PiggyVest, Flutterwave, Kuda as Top Fintech Companies of 2024
American news and business channel, The CNBCIn its World’s Top Fintech Companies 2024 report, it named seven African companies among the top 250 fintech companies in the world.
The report, produced in collaboration with market research firm Statista, highlighted relevant KPIs for over 2,000 eligible companies between March and May 2024.
The companies were divided into eight different categories, namely: alternative finance, banking solutions, business process solutions, digital assets, financial planning, neobanking, payments and wealth technology.
Among the top 250 companies, five Nigerian companies make the list.
Kuda entered the neobanking category while Palmpay, Flutterwave and MTN Momo entered the payments segment. PiggyVest was placed in the financial planning category.
