Invest Hong Kong (InvestHK) has opened applications for the seventh edition of its fintech programme Global Accelerated Pathway (GFT) 2024Registrations will be open until September 20th.
The program invites fintech companies from local and international markets to present their ideas on global platforms, offering mentorship and business matchmaking to help them unlock their potential.
The global finalists of the GFT pitching competition will compete in the grand final at Hong Kong Fintech Week (HKFW).
This year’s program includes new features aimed at strengthening Hong Kong’s position as a leading international fintech hub.

“Over the past few years, Global Fast Track has evolved into a fintech-friendly platform. We have helped over 1,000 fintech companies from over 50 economies showcase their cutting-edge innovations and accelerate their market entry in Hong Kong and beyond.
We are excited to build on this success and continue to offer unparalleled access to a global network of over 100 corporate investors and supporters, mentors and industry leaders through GFT 2024.”
Improved networking opportunities
New features at GFT 2024 include improved networking opportunities.
These opportunities include ongoing one-on-one meetings facilitated by the GFT matchmaking platform.
Additionally, the new Founders Champions Night will bring together Hong Kong’s successful local champions who have raised funds, been acquired or expanded internationally, allowing them to connect exclusively with the GFT finalists.
Other international actors, including investors and financial institutions from the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region, will also participate, promoting connectivity between the GCC region and Hong Kong.
The new Investor Network Night will allow companies to connect with key investors, introducing them to growth and funding opportunities.
Expanded Vertical Tracks for 2024
For 2024, GFT will expand its vertical focus to include ESG/Green Fintech, Blockchain and Insurance/HealthTech, in addition to its established fintech and AI tracks.
This expansion reflects evolving trends in the financial services industry.
The semi-finalists of each track will be invited to Hong Kong to present their ideas in person during HKFW, with the grand finale scheduled for day two.
This event offers fintech innovators a unique opportunity to present their ideas to thousands of attendees, including leading companies and investors looking for fintech solutions and investment opportunities.
Past winners have come from a variety of countries, including Canada, France, Israel, mainland China, South Korea, Sweden, Switzerland, the United Kingdom and the United States.
InvestHK will collaborate with Finoverse, the appointed co-organizer of GFT 2024, to take the program to new heights.
