Fintech veteran takes over as legal director of startup aiming to disrupt global banking
Tala, a fintech startup with an ambitious goal of serving the 3 billion people worldwide who are unserved by traditional financial services providers, has hired Damier Xandrine, a former Wells Fargo general counsel, as its chief legal officer.
Xandrine worked with Wells Fargo from 2020 to 2016, rising to senior vice president. She later served as associate general counsel for Silicon Valley Bank, deputy general counsel for banking startup Marqeta, and chief legal officer for banking startup KOHO.
