Actions of Trump Media and Technology rose more than 30%. The group, which trades under the ticker DJT, is the parent company of Trump’s Truth Social platform.

Bitcoin surged above $63,000, boosting cryptocurrency-linked stocks such as Coinbase Global, Marathon Digital and MicroStrategy.

Related to firearms the shares soared.

More broadly, across markets, the S&P 500, Dow Jones Industrial Index and Nasdaq-100 rose between 0.6% and 1%.

Yields on benchmark Treasury notes hit 4.21% after dipping below 4.19% on Friday.
