New Roaring Kitty Social Post Boosts GameStop-Themed Crypto by 200%, Kitty-Themed Coins Rise – GameStop (NYSE: GME)

O “Roaring Kitten”The frenzy is set to rock the meme coin market again, with GameStop (CRYPTO: GME) exploding just hours after a social post from the legendary trader.
What happened: Keith Gillbetter known online as “Roaring Kitty”, became active on social media on Sunday nightmarking his first post since last month’s mania that boosted both traditional and cryptocurrency markets.
At no time, Solana (CRYPTO: SUN) GME memecoin based on ), which pays homage to the 2021 short squeeze GameStop Corp.. (NYSE:GME) by Roaring Kitty, has more than tripled in value, according to data from CoinMarketCap.
The surge took the cryptocurrency’s market value to more than $70 million, representing a 180% increase in the last 24 hours. Trading volumes increased more than 6 times to $110 million.
The coins, which had nothing to do with Roaring Kitty or Gamestop, started to appear only due to the buzz around the word “Kitty”. AI kitten more than doubled in value.

Why this matters: These developments have once again brought to light the unstable nature of memecoins, which can fluctuate dramatically with just one social media post.
Last month, the coins mentioned failed to sustain gains after initial euphoria and crater soon after. It would be interesting to observe its growth at the beginning of the week.
Price Action: At the time of writing, GME is trading at $0.01223, up 217% in the last 24 hours. GameStop shares traded 0.82% lower during after-hours trading, according to data from Benzinga Pro.
