South African fintech Stitch to host third annual Scale Summit in October
South African payments infrastructure company Stitch will host its third annual Scale Summit on Thursday 3 October in Johannesburg, themed “The Year of the Consumer”.
Founded in February 2021, Sew is a payments infrastructure company that helps businesses grow faster and operate more efficiently. Stitch’s API and payment tools reduce the effort required for businesses across all industries to connect to the financial system and deliver delightful experiences to their users.
With his recent $25 million Series A extension roundThe startup has raised a total of $52 million in funding and expanded to become an end-to-end payment service providerStitch hosted its first Scale Summit in 2022, a second event last year, and will now host a third in October.
“South African consumers are engaging in online commerce more than ever before, with higher expectations for seamless and engaging experiences. In our third annual Scale Summit, we’ll explore what the South African consumer mindset looks like today and how brands should think about how to reach and engage their customers, including the role of payment innovation in enabling customer acquisition and retention,” said Thea Sokolowski, Head of Marketing and Communications at Stitch.
