According to the press release, the new offering provides its customers with personalized and real-time digital payment services. The collaboration between Swiss4 and Margaret comes at a time when consumer demand for personalized financial experiences is on the rise. A recent survey found that more than half of 25-34 year-olds prefer using financial products from their favorite brands over traditional banks, citing greater convenience and personalized offerings.
Speaking about the new partnership, Zhina Asmei, co-founder and CEO of Swiss4, said: “We looked for a partner who has experience not only in the Swiss market, but also across Europe, and who can support our future expansion plans when the time comes. Marqeta is a reliable solution that can meet our requirements for a flexible, scalable and customized offering with the latest features our customers are looking for.”
The Swiss4 application acts as a digital wallet which allows users to organize recreational activities, access exclusive cultural and sporting events and receive personalized recommendations in a single platform.
Expansion of services in the Swiss market
Meanwhile, more and more companies are expanding their services in the digital asset sector in the Swiss market. Last year, Zondacrypto, a cryptocurrency startup registered in Estonia, got his over-the-counter license in Switzerland. The company offers digital asset exchange services, including fiat-to-crypto and crypto-to-crypto conversions.
The exchange received the approval after receiving a crypto services license in Slovakia. Although the Slovak government does not require crypto asset providers to operate under an official license, the company said the approval will allow it to comply with anti-money laundering and terrorist financing regulations.
