TD Bank presents a banking solution tailored for startups
TD Bank Group today announced the launch of TD Innovation Partner (TDIP), a new full-service team providing customized, high-end banking and financial solutions to support technology and innovation companies at all stages.
TDIP will offer a broad range of services to address the unique challenges and opportunities faced by technology entrepreneurs, from banking and lending products to principal investments and private banking solutions.
“With more than one million business banking customers across Canada, TD plays an active role in supporting entrepreneurs and helping them achieve their financial goals.” said Barbara Hooper, Group Head of Canadian Business Banking, TD. “Our TDIP team is ready to support the next generation of innovative companies every step of the way.”
At launch, TDIP will offer a unique banking experience built for founders and their teams. From initially opening a bank account to meeting the complex needs of mid- and later-stage growth companies, TDIP aims to bridge the gap between banking services and the specialized needs of technology companies throughout their lifecycle.
TDIP will also work alongside TD Wealth to provide private banking and wealth management services to help make TD the bank that truly understands the founder’s journey.
“Our team is deeply passionate about the innovation economy, and we are committed to working as hard as our customers,” said Shez Samji, principal of TD Innovation Partners. “At TDIP, we are focused on improving and curating the banking experience for technology companies and their founders, so they can spend more time building and growing their business.”
