The best financial app allows payment with Shiba Inu card
xPortal, a cryptocurrency-based financial app on the MultiversX blockchain, has added Shiba Inu among the crypto assets usable via its card service.
In an announcement on Friday, xPortal revealed that it is opening up new top-up avenues for its crypto debit card service. After the update, cryptocurrency enthusiasts can now top up their cards with various crypto assets such as Shiba Inu Dog and spend them immediately.
Notably, other assets added by xPortal as new top-up options for its debit card service include Chainlink (LINK), Uniswap (UNI), popular meme coins Dogecoin (DOGE) and PEPE, and stablecoins USDT and USDC.

xPortal Card Service Supporting Shiba Inu
xPortal is a global payments app and non-custodial crypto wallet powered by MultiversX (EGLD). It allows users to exchange and manage their cryptocurrencies directly from their mobile devices. The team prides itself on the wallet’s security features, claiming that it is unhackable, given its on-chain 2FA.
Shiba Inu Enthusiasts you can get xPortal’s debit card solution by downloading the app via Apple App Store, Google Play Store and Huawei AppGallery.
The card issuing fee is free. However, a €10 charge applies for the physical delivery of the card, while a 1.49% fee applies for cryptocurrency purchases. In particular, users can get up to 5% cashback.
Reacting to the announcement, a US-based cryptocurrency enthusiast complained that xPortal’s card service is not available to Americans. Responding to the remark, one user X offered comfort by saying that once there is a leadership change With the upcoming elections, the usual cryptocurrency restrictions for US residents would be eased thanks to favorable regulations.

Growing list of SHIB card payment services
With this latest development, xPortal joins the growing list of cryptocurrency-based financial service providers that have integrated support for Shiba Inu payments across various payment methods.
In 2023, BitPay collaborated with Sardines to enable SHIB card payments in over 180 countries. Also, the same year, the Gate.io exchange launched a debit card that supports Shiba Inu payments across Europe.
More recently, the CryptoCom app enlarged his support in accepting Shiba Inu for Visa card financing. Also, Binance’s crypto debit card reinstated Payment support for Shiba Inu this month, building on its initial integration in August 2022.
