Financing and Investments
Blue flame, the generative AI platform for alternative investment managers, has completed its Series A funding round. The $5 million private funding round, which was 25% oversubscribed, was raised through the network of industry leaders and strategic partners of BlueFlame, along with significant participation from the management team. BlueFlame will use the funding for product improvements for customers.
Truth, a payment solutions provider, has successfully closed an $18.8 million funding round led by Sandbox industries AND Capital Forgepoint with the participation of Ardent venture capital partners AND MTech Capital. This latest capital infusion will accelerate the company’s growth in banking and insurance and Verituity’s expansion into new markets, including mortgage services and energy.
Appointments
Sidetradean AI-powered order-to-cash platform, welcomed Allison Barlaz as marketing manager. This appointment is part of Sidetrade’s plan to strengthen its market presence and accelerate growth, with a particular focus on North America. Barlaz joins Sidetrade with over 25 years of experience in product and marketing roles at software companies, including SaaS providers.
Tide, named the UK’s corporate finance platform Anna Fromme Schoen as managing director, Germany. Based in Berlin, he will work with a growing team to establish and expand Tide’s presence in Germany. Tide also launched a product on the German market in May. Fromme-Schoen joins Tide from PayPal Germany, where she held leadership roles since 2016.
Threddthe next generation payments platform, hires Matt Swann as a non-executive director. He joins Thredd from Nubank where he served as Chief Technology Officer. This appointment follows the recent expansion of Thredd’s global product and technology team under the leadership of Edwin Poot.
Delta per capita, names a global provider of financial services consulting, managed services and technology Nick Frost as global chief financial officer. Based in London, he will join Delta Capita’s executive committee reporting directly to the Group CEO, Joe ChannerFrost will work closely with the global corporate leadership team to develop the company’s financial strategy and assist Delta Capita with its ambitious growth plans.
Collaborations
Bank payment company GoCardless has unveiled a partnership with the integration and automation platform Celigo accelerate its growth through indirect channels. Leveraging Celigo’s integration platform will allow GoCardless to create integrations between its payment platform and back-end systems. Businesses can embed GoCardless banking payments into the software they use every day, from finance and procurement tools to shipping and fulfillment platforms.
Lloyds Banking Group AND Visa have renewed and expanded their 40-year partnership in the UK, as Visa becomes Lloyds Banking Group’s main scheme provider for its Lloyds Bank, Halifax, Bank of Scotland and MBNA brands. Under the partnership, Lloyds Banking Group and Visa plan to launch a range of innovative and market-leading products and services across the Group’s brands.
Iress has extended its partnership with acres, a UK mortgage and protection platform. Under the renewed agreement, Iress will integrate its mortgage provisioning data and Iress’s Lender Connect into Acre’s broker software; equip intermediaries with better procurement capabilities and convenience, enabling more efficient case management.
Luxury marketsa global trading infrastructure provider for digital assets, partners with BitGo, the custodian of digital assets, to bring regulated qualified custody and automated settlement to the Finery Markets trading network. BitGo will secure assets in qualified, remote custody in the event of bankruptcy through BitGo Trust Company, Inc and will use Go Network, its liquidation solution, to liquidate and settle trades on Finery’s non-custodial platform.
E-commerce, added end-to-end payments platform for e-commerce BigCommerce to its list of integrations with popular CMS and e-commerce platforms, offering an advanced payment ecosystem built for optimal conversion and growth. The new out-of-the-box plugin will allow customers to update their payment systems with zero downtime, using a streamlined integration process.

Wisea provider of accounting, financial, human resources and payroll technology for small and medium-sized businesses, along with Xeinadin, a UK accounting firm, announces strategic partnership. This multi-year partnership positions Sage as the preferred transformation partner for Xeinadin. As part of this strategy, Xeinadin will integrate Sage’s advanced solutions across all locations to improve services and increase customer satisfaction.
